Music and Media Research in Ireland
The central aim of the NIMIR Project is to investigate the spaces of the commercial music industries where identity is constructed, packaged and represented. A focus on the lived experiences of people in Ireland, and the image of artists on music magazines, guides this research towards an untold narrative about gender, space, music and a commodified music culture.
