Following a brief hiatus after a Balter farewell party, the heavy bass loving crew PUZZLEvents are returning this coming October. To mark the occasion they’ve put together a chunky line-up with a special UK headliner.
It’s a jam packed affair with seven artists representing a cluster of labels and collectives; local underground collective Puzzle, Dublin drum and bass disrupters Initial, top-shelf-but-from-the-back jungle label Rua Sound, UK based drum and bass music gyros Dispatch Recordings and Metalheadz.
Ant TC1 founded Dispatch Recordings in 2001 and is also the label manager of Metalheadz. With performances worldwide and a string of successful releases and radio plays, Ant TC1’s work builds on a life lived in the music – and he will be taking the Boat Club down the rabbit hole until close.
Representing the home town crew are Crux and MarzataQ, two integral directors of the eclectic and rightly strange journey that PUZZLEvents have been bringing the drum and bass community on for the last four years. From the Dublin side, Berlin-D2 residents and Initial crew, Wah and Degree will be bringing a juicy selection of high velocity bangers. Welfare and Rob DC, of the Galway born (with a Brussels-Vietnam passport) label Rua Sound, will be adding their own curated jungle delirium to the mix.
All through the all knowing, Subversion Soundsystem. Tickets on sale now, €8/10. Expect the weird ❤
